The Santa Monica Swim Center is an award-winning, community-serving facility owned and operated by the City of Santa Monica. The Swim Center is currently closed for annual winter maintenance. During this time we will be also be making $1.3M in renovations to the facility and taking a deep look at all parts of the City aquatics program to better serve the community.

The start of our Spring 2016 classes and programs is right around the corner! Priority registration for residents will begin February 3. Registration for nonresidents will open on February 10. When: January 22, starting at 8 am
Where: 400' of 16th Street, northbound, south of Pico
What: A section of northbound traffic lane on 16th at Pico (including sidewalk and bike lane) will be temporarily closed for staging of a concrete boom truck. Traffic flow should return to normal by mid-afternoon.
The second concrete pour for the deck around the Splash Pool is complete. With this deck filled with concrete and finished, the focus will turn to the Fitness Pool deck. Many thanks to our neighbors for your patience as we move quickly to complete this project!
