The Santa Monica Swim Center Fitness Pool will have limited lap lanes available on Wednesday, September 28th due to a Santa Monica College Water Polo game. Come cheer the team on!

The Santa Monica Swim Center will be closed all day on Saturday, September 24th and Sunday September 25th due to Team Santa Monica Swim Meet.

The City of Santa Monica is excited to bring you the American Red Cross blended learning lifeguard training class. This class is for participants 15 years and older who would like to become an American Red Cross Certified Lifeguard. We will combine in depth on line learning with detailed class instruction, demonstration and practice.

Upon successful completion of this course, participants will receive American Red Cross certification in Lifeguarding, CPR for the Professional Rescuer, Oxygen Administration and Title 22 (First Aid for Public Safety Personnel). In order to pass the course and receive certification, participants are required to attend all sessions of the course for the full times listed, no exceptions.

The Santa Monica Swim Center will be open Labor Day Monday September 5th from 10:00am-2:00pm for lap swim and recreational swimming. No same day call in reservations for lap swim that day.

Saturday and Sunday same day call in reservations are changing! Beginning Saturday, August 26th same day call in reservations for Saturdays and Sundays will take place from 9:30 am-11:00 am for reservations beginning at 11:00 am. Please call 310-458-8700 for more information.

The Swim Center's Deep Water Aerobics Class will be cancelled today, Monday, November 7th due to the lack of available instructors to coach the class. Please join us tomorrow for Shallow Water Aerobics in the Splash Pool at 6:00 pm.

Beginning Monday, June 13th, the Santa Monica Swim Center will have new operational hours to kick off our Summer 2022 season. All lap swimming will be 25-yard short course and will accommodate up to 4 swimmers per lane, with the exception of lane #1 ADA/Aqua jog can accommodate up to 6 swimmer . The Santa Monica Swim Center will be open Independence Day Monday July 4th from 10:00am-2:00pm for lap swim and recreational swimming. No same day call in reservations for lap swim that day.

Sharks Swim Meet will take place on Sunday June 26th from 11:00am - 5:00pm. Fitness Pool will have limited lap lanes during these times.

The Santa Monica City Council has designated Juneteenth as official city holiday. This year Juneteenth will be observed on June 20, 2022. The Swim Center will be open reduced hours from 10:00am-2:00pm for lap swim and recreational swimming. No same day call in reservations for lap swim that day.
